Early Career Researchers’ Conference (ECRC)

In April 2018, an Alliance was formed between the John Innes Centre (JIC), the Max Planck Institute for Plant Breeding Research (MPIPZ), and the Centre for Research in Agricultural Genomics (CRAG). With this Alliance, these three leading European plant science institutes from the UK, Germany and Spain, aim to strengthen their relationship at scientific and institutional levels, promoting the vision of a pan-continental European Research Area in the plant sciences.

The three institutes recognise the importance of young researchers developing scientific networks across Europe. For this reason, the alliance has a strong focus on enabling graduate students and post-doctoral researchers to work together, share experiences and move between the three centres. With these aims in mind, we encourage you to join this first trilateral Early Career Researchers’ Conference, which will provide you with a terrific setting to share your research and build your network for your future career.
